Ever had a hackathon + case competition here at UTM? Don't think so! UTMSAM, MCSS, WiSC, DSC, and IBA came together and created Hack the Case, a combination of hackathon and case competition featuring workshops, games, networking, prizes, and all kinds of surprises. The event will be run during the reading week, from February 15 - 20.
Why are we combining these 2? The reason is simple, sometimes what students create in a hackathon is not immediately applicable in real life, and sometimes students' ideas in case competition cannot be directly implemented. We decided to merge them so that students can create products that are immediately applicable in real life.
